泰妃雞 ( pronounced Tai Fei Gai ). Recommended by many locals, this restaurant is a hidden gem found in the narrow streets of Mong Kok.
We received tender and moist chicken with a sweet and savoury chili sauce served on top of fragrant chicken oil rice.
Dinner set with Chinese soup cost only $58. 👌
Located inside the Pacific Place mall in Admirality is Sun's Bazaar.
The Hainanese chicken was plated with care and tasted quite fresh.
Hainanese chicken here was $98. The seating was comfortable, the look and feel was modern, and the restaurant waiters were very attentive!
Situated on a 15/F high rise next to SOGO in the Causeway Bay area is Katong Corner.
Chicken was satisfactory. The sauces could have been a lot stronger, but the quiet ambience and very attentive staff still makes this an attractive dinner setting.
Our Hainanese chicken with a bowl of oil rice came out to $106.
Finally, our last stop was at a more upscale restaurant located near the trendy Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay.
